Everyone by now supposes that I have gone into labor and had a baby. Correction...I disappeared from the blogging world for a week while me and the fam closed down for the never-ending flu. Thought I'd never come up for air. I think I captured the jist of our week for you in Mimi's gloomy eyes. Scott said to me at one point in the week, "This is what it would be like if the Bird Flu came along. We'd all be too sick to even take care of each other." We are gratefully on our way out with no Bird Flu in sight and Luke and I are the last ones to finish up. So I apologize for not stopping in for a while.
Some quick updates...
- I will be induced this Tuesday, the 11th. Finally!
- According to the ultrasound yesterday, she is already 7.10 lbs. Looks like she'll be about the size Mimi was, 8.10 lbs. (LOVE HEALTHY BABIES)
- Luke is almost completely potty trained. pheeew!
- Scott got a new (old) bike from another 6'2'' Dentist in the area. The bike has already been through a couple of iron man competitions. Maybe a new hobby?
- The ward has continued to bring in incredible meals to us since bed rest began. Southern cooking is by far the best.
- Some amazing girlfriends showered me with baby gifts at the Cheesecake Factory a couple of weeks ago. A shower on baby #4? Unheard of! However, I was told every baby should be celebrated. You all are the best!
- Katie is riding her bike without training wheels. Yippee!
- My Momma comes in town on Sunday morning for week. I can hardly wait.
