...ours was happy. It started with a specialty breakfast of sprinkled pink icing organic pop tarts. (couldn't bear feeding my kids the real thing.) Then a quick valentines doo with my favorite 'hair accessory with a twist' doing the magic, and off to school to make a killing on valentine goodies.
As for me, I spent much of the day with my good friend Noel prepping for a hot and steamy Valentines day party at my house that evening with some other fun couples. We had a terrific time eating sushi and some decadent desserts, laughing and telling stories, and playing uncomfortable, yet oddly enjoyable games. I tried my hand at putting together some flower arrangements for the big night too. They turned out so-so considering that I couldn't afford three dozen roses to work with for the ideal look. Unfortunately baby's breath would have to fill in the gaps where plump, delicious roses should have been. Yuck. Any other ideas on a small budget?

Hi Jess! Love keeping up with you guys. I'll have to order one of those hair things for all of Marina's hair ... looks like fun. Good luck with your bed rest.

YES!!! I LOVE Mimi's hair! It has Jessica written all over it...not to mention a pretty sweet hair accessory. Dude, I heard Paris Hilton got a hold of some of those?
You amaze me. I loved the heart hair do, I wouldn't even think of that.
The flower arrangement looked great. Good luck with the bed rest. Thinking of you guys!
How is bed rest going? At least it is only a couple of weeks, right? Still, it would be hard not to go crazy!
The party was SOOOO fun. Thanks for sacrificing for us. I hope Little Lady Law isn't too upset about you working so hard. (I hope she comes early as a result!)
