1. Thankful that Nanny and Papa came in town for Thanksgiving.
2. Thankful I cooked an entire Thanksgiving feast on my own with only one major mishap.
When Scott left to pick up Nanny and Papa at the airport, I thought to myself that everything was going all too well with the meal. Every dish would come out of the oven good and hot right when they arrived to the house. I spoke too soon...I pulled the yams out of the the oven and placed them on the only open burner on the stove. The burner was only available because I had just pulled the potatoes off to drain leaving the burner on a HIGH setting. As I mashed the potatoes I kept looking over thinking the yams must still be boiling a bit from being in the hot oven when SPLAT! (That is the most descriptive word I can come up with right now.) The yams exploded all over my kitchen along with the glass dish they where prepared in. The sticky, glassy mess was...well...I didn't even know where to begin. I hate to blame my complete lack of thinking on pregnancy, but I believe this probably would have happened nevertheless. The rest of the meal turned out great.
3. Always thankful for Football
4. Thankful for my new found love in (cooked) sushi. I have been craving it since being introduced to KOJA II sushi restaurant. Thank you Greg and Noelle.

5. Oddly thankful for Ripley's Believe it or Not! We visited the museum in St. Augustine which happens to be the oldest city in the U.S. for all of you history buff's out there. Here are pics of the tallest man in the world and fattest man ever to be drafted into the navy. It was very fun and very sick all at the same time.
6. Thankful for an early Christmas, birthdays and un-birthday. Nanny and Papa showered us all with gifts the night before they left. We decided we should open the gifts with them while they were here because we will be in Utah for Christmas with my family. They outdid themselves with handmade quilts, DVD's, clothes, toy cars and tracks, beautiful music boxes, and even an un-birthday present for Katie, a stamp kit.
8. Thankful for DVR. I can watch my shows on my own time...Law and Order SVU, Oprah, Criminal Minds, Project Runway, Dancing with the Stars. While Scott can watch his...MXC, UFC, Taboo, Most Evil, Survivor Man. (Is there a trend here?) We do still have a few common favorites...the Office, football, House...hmmmm...that's about it. Funny thing though, we still find time to fit in wholesome activities as a family.
9. Thankful for great weather. Can't help thinking about all of the miserably cold winters we endured in Pittsburgh.
10. Thank goodness for holidays and new babies. Without these, we wouldn't have excuses to visit or be visited by family and friends. We are thankful for you all and count down the days till we see you again.

Your Thanksgiving table looks so pretty. I want to try Koja...we will have to head over sometime.
Yah for your dinner! I am still laughing about the yams---ONLY because I would totally do that unpregnant. It looked really great!
Sad we missed Koja. I have been CRAVING it--so don't go right before we get back (I guess you'll be in UT) so we can reminisce about the holidays over "Stacey Rolls".
Miss you! Have a great Christmas in UT.
