Truth be told, I did want a boy. I love love love the friendship that Mimi and Katie share. I'm sure those two will grow up to be best friends. Much of it is due to the fact that they are only 18 months apart. I wanted the same for Lucas. A buddy he could throw the ball back and forth to, team up on his sisters with, and tear the house to pieces with. For now he will have to wait.
The more I think about this new baby girl coming, the more exciting and real it feels for me. It never gets less exciting with each new baby. I still think about the possibilities of what she will look like and what her personality will be. Will we have a red, brown and a blondie girl? What will her name be? (Scott has appointed himself to name all of our children and has done a fine job so far if I do say so myself.) These mysteries will all unfold around March 21st. I guess I won't be putting away my ribbons anytime soon. I do fear that doing one more head of hair each morning may do me in for sure. I love her already and can't wait for her to join us.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Congratulations you guys! I must say you are fabulous at accesorizing your girlies so it fits just right. Lukie will have many little girls to protect...and I'm sure he'll be the right size for protecting :-) We love you guys...congratulations!
You do such a good job with Mimi and Katie's hair--that's why you're getting another girl. Fortunately for me, my girls come bald and I can learn on the job (I could use a few lessons, though)...
Congrats! Jess- I do not have your new number...I have a left a few messages on the old number....I would love to chat with you directly rather than hearing everything second hand through the hubbies eyes. We are SOOO excited for you! Great job on the blog by the way! I am way impressed with the posts! MK
Congrats! We too love girls at our house.
That is very exciting. I am with Krystal though, and could definitely use some lessons in making little girls look cute! Which is probably why I had a boy first--I don't have to do anything to his hair!
by the way....love your new blog layout...good choice!
3 GIRLS, very exciting!! I can't believe you already found out!! Congrats!! We miss you!!
Oh Jess, I'm so excited for you. I wanted max to be a girl for the same reason but Kyla and Max have ended up being best of friends with a nice mix of girl/boy stuff, no one too girly or too rough. You had to know you were doomed to have lots of girls when it was learned what lengths you'd go to to have cute hair on your girls. I've never put much time into Kyla's hair, that's probably why I'll never get another.
Yeah for another LADY! If I have twins boys, I'll trade you one of them for your girlie!
