All I want for Christmas...

I realized that we didn't update you all on Katie's Memorial day accident. Just a quick refresher... Katie was at a water park and got plowed at the bottom of a slide by bigger kid thus falling directly on her face. After about a week passed, just as Scott anticipated, Katie's two front teeth began to turn a deep shade of grey. Scott knew he had to pull them out. We took Katie into the office and within 15 minutes she lost her two front teeth along with her signature lisp that we adored. This experience was all too traumatic for Scott. He stood and rocked her back and forth for another 15 minutes apologizing over and over for what he had to do. Katie now has a new signature...a big, beautiful toothless smile. She will be singing that favorite Christmas tune for a few years until her new front teeth grow in. A week later she broke her nose, but that's another story...
